So in the beginning of the last summer, I thought that I was gonna start a blog so my friends and family could follow my life. But now its december and I am home during my winterbreak..! I have so much time now so I figure better late then never. Right? So just to make you guys into the loop, and to make me remeber everything in four years, I am going to summon up everything that has happend.

August 10th. Me and two of my friends took the flight to USA to studdy and play soccer. One of them, JE, I only met for about a week in New York when I was over on a soccer camp to meet scouts. That didn't go so well, we got there during the big storm Sandy.. Anyway the other girl, JO, I had only spoken with her over Facebook. Everything when well till we got to USA and JE had forgot her I-20 in Sweden. We had only 2h between the flights so, they told me and JO to go to the flight and JE was gonna come and meet us on the plane. But we got on and JE wasn't on it.. So she had to stay one night on the airport and take another flight the morning after. I felt really bad for her. But everything turned out pretty good anyway and we are laughting about it now!!  ;)

The first time we met our new coach was really scarry. We had only had contact with her over email so I didn't really now what to expect. She is driving her car and parks it on the wrong side of the street and says: So this is the Swedish maffia! We told the American freshmen from the team about it and now it kind of become a thing.. 

When you are playing sports in college, by the rules of the NCAA, Coach can only have practices with the team between the dates they have put up. So to save as much time as we could, Coach decided to have our first practice at 12pm in the night/morning. We call it Midnight madness... Not only did we practice, but we had a Yo-Yo test. To be in the starting team you have to do 30 sprints. This was really tough. But good.

We played really well the first games but in the end we lost some points and got kicked out in our first game i the tournament. We was really sad and still are. But for next year we are going to kick ass!!

My first goal was in a scrimmage game. I had my back to the goal and got the ball and on one touch I turned with the ball and got a shot with my left foot right in the further down corner. Everything went so fast, don't really remember what happened. We always film our games and put it up on hudl so we can look through it. But when I am looking threw the film, my goal is missing... Little sad about that.. :(

My family came up for five days right before halloween which was really fun! I got to show them around over the campus and our room, and to meet them. I had school and practices everyday so I didn't have so much time with them. But I am happy for the time I got. 

So one really fun day was JO´s 20th birthday! :D We had planned out her birthday with a lot of surprises for her, but I felt so bad for lying to her. Me and JE made two cakes to her. One chocolate and one with bananas and white chocolate (my mom always mede that for my birthday! It is really good!). We had borrowed her roommate´s key, so the freshmen from the team woke her up by singing to her. We got her a princess crown, she had to wear the whole day. Lucky her it was only Saturday. ;) Forgot to say we had made a card to her where it said she had to be ready at 6pm for a surprise. JE had made up a really good rime to her, unfortunately I don't remember it now. At 6pm we kidnapped her and took her to her favorite restaurant. It was a really funny day and JO had a lot of fun! 

During the Thanksgiving the whole campus was closed so we couldn't stay in the dorm rooms. Me and JE when up to Washington and rented a car to drive up to Philadelphia. We when up to Washington with bus on tuesday lunchtime and got there in the evening so we went strait to the hotel and fell a sleep. On the morning we picked up a rental car and drove around in the city and to George town. Later on we when to a mall for some shopping. Next day we went to look at all the stuff by the capitol, the white house, The national historical museum, Lincoln memorial.. There was a small ice-skating park by the art museum so we ice-scate for some time. :) On the evening we drove up to Philadelphia. We ate thanksgiving dinner at the Waffle House and sang loud and clear to Tracy Chapman´s "Fast Car" that we put on the jukebox. The day after I meet my best friends and my little sister, she was there with her choir! My little sister was suppose to come with us to Atlanta city, but she didn't feel very well so she stayed at the hotel. Anyway we drove down there over the day and did a LOT of shopping! X-mas shopping! So this year I am all done with my presents! :D We went down to the beach and took some pictures, which turned out beautiful with the sun. The following days we went to The American Swedish museum where her choir had a concert. Have to tell you it made me miss Sweden very much. JE and I went to a restaurant with my little sister and two of her friends. The last day we went to IKEA to say goodbye to my friends and little sister. It was really hard to say goodbye to them.. <3 Bought some stuff for our room and some Swedish GLÖGG!! It's awesome. Got out americans to try it and they really likes it! Tried to give them licorice, but they spit it out.. Such a waste.. -.-  Had an awesome time!! 

So two days ago JE, JO and I got back to Sweden for our winter break. It is really weird to be back in Sweden. My little brother and little sister shared room before, but when I left  my little brother got my room and my little sister got the bigger room. My bed stands in my sisters room so I have to share it with her now. Haven't been living there since i was little. I actually miss USA, my College, my team and my room. I am going to miss my roommate. I shared room with JE this semester, but she is gonna stay in Sweden with her boyfriend. I am really gonna miss her! I am so thankful for this all of my adventures I have been on and shared with my friends and team. Love you guys!
